Creating The Concept
Jack Daniel's has long been a symbol of camaraderie and a comfortable familiarity. This campaign built on that legacy while adding in a casual spontaneity. I settled on a night time beach party setting to suggest the targeted feelings of youthful spontaneity. The visual centerpiece was the iconic bottle, staged against the warm glow of a beach bonfire, evoking inviting feelings of connection and social warmth.
Choosing the Tagline
I created the "Someone Always Invites Jack" tapping into the modern social culture of inclusivity and spontaneity, with the word "always" deliberately reflecting the idea that Jack Daniel's is not just a drink but an essential element of shared experiences.
Staging The Shot
I used the bonfire as the main light source to create a natural and inviting ambiance, bathing the sand and bottle in a warm orange glow.I positioned a subtle additional light to highlight the bottle’s label and texture, ensuring brand visibility. Shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, with a 50mm lens to create sharp subject focus and soft background bokeh, enhancing the intimate feel.
Post-Production in Photoshop
• Adjusted levels to ensure the firelight’s warmth was bright but not oversaturated.
• Enhanced the bottle’s amber tones to align with Jack Daniel’s signature branding.
